FIGLET 6

The Figlet Issue Six — Autumn/Winter 2026 brings together 72 Isle of Wight writers and artists in more than 140 pages of poetry, fiction, memoir, essays, painting, photography, illustration and cartoons. Its featured theme, Fair or Foul, ranges from witches, fairgrounds and fake news to questions of justice, deception and the murkier reaches of human nature.

Elsewhere, Island landscapes meet folklore, history, memory and environmental concerns. Expect Tennyson and Handel, punk and pantomime dames, goddesses and strange creatures, a battered old kettle, hundreds of nurdles — and rather more chickens than any literary magazine has a reasonable right to contain.
